We are creatives. An eclectic group of artists, social geeks, adrenaline junkies, musicians and comedians. Although our personal interests vary, we all share the same fiery passion for producing the best work this side of the Atlantic.

Dave Plivelich

We’re sure you know someone that knows Dave. He’s everywhere: President of the Petroleum Club of Bakersfield, Kern EDC, Leadership Bakersfield, Rotary, numerous boards and yes — at the helm of The Marcom Group. Dave is the go-to-guy for any problem: Everything from technical solutions to increasing a client’s profitability to giving advice on the best place to get grapes. (Sun World International, Columbine Vineyards, Sunlight International Sales/Dulich & Sons or Top Brass Marketing/Vignolo Farms, incidentally.) His professional experience spans over two decades and includes graphic design, strategy development, sales and marketing, technical services, web implementation, fine art, radio, television, and film production — the list goes on. And did we mention his creativity is award-winning? Overcoming obstacles is second nature to Dave. His schooling consisted of driving by campus on his way to work. In spite of his lack of “traditional” education, his talents were noticed. In 1993 he joined a local advertising agency as lead designer and rose through the ranks to Art Director in under 6 months. He helped grow the agency into a major player, then figured out he could do it on his own. The Marcom Group was born.

And for the record… Dave. Knows. Everything.
